The OSTRF is pleased to announce planning is underway for the 2nd International Oil Sands Tailings Conference to be held in Edmonton, Alberta from Dec 5-8, 2010. A call for abstracts is available from the seminars page.
The OSTRF and U of A Geotechnical Centre were pleased to host the "Tailings and Mine Waste '09" conference, Novemeber 1-4, 2009 at the Banff Springs Hotel in Banff, Alberta. Conference presentations are available for download at http://ostrfdownload.civil.ualberta.ca/
Opportunities
The research facility is currently looking for postdoctoral researchers and graduate students at the M.Sc and Ph.D. level.
